Unified Court Systems

DVI can handle complex and extensive turnkey engineering/installations of state-of-the-art very-high-speed fiberoptic and other communications systems supporting mission-critical voice, data and other services, while maintaining active users throughout the process.


On behalf of the NYS Unified Court System’s Westchester County Courthouse working with the Dormitory Authority of the state of New York (DASNY), DVI served as the telecommunications & data systems consultant for the phased rehabilitation of the twenty story Richard J. Daronco Westchester County Courthouse (White Plains, NY) (comprising 225,000 sq. ft.) and the new construction of a courthouse annex (~200,000 sq. ft.).

The project comprised a three-phase renovation spanning a period of four years leading with the construction of the new Annex, followed by the partial renovation of the existing tower in phases.

Over the course of the project, DVI designed, engineered and arranged for the deployment of all new

  • Telephone System
  • Cabling System
  • LAN/Data System
  • Rooftop RF Systems, and
  • Carrier Services

for each phase of construction, with no disruption to ongoing operations due to careful coordination and control.

Among the carrier services considered was a County-owned Fiber Ring providing a high speed Metropolitan Area Network throughout White Plains for voice, video and data Services using SONET or DWDM technologies.
